Jamu Lodge is an Amazon eco lodge located in the incredible Cuyabeno wildlife Reserve, along the Cuyabeno River, 15 minutes downstream from the wonderful Laguna Grande, where clients can enjoy different types of activities.
Jamu means “armadillo” in the indigenous Siona language. The lodge practices a policy of minimal environmental impact; solar panels help us to work in operating areas with a capacity of 110 wtz. All organic waste is used as compost.
This Amazon lodge has a spacious dining room, social areas, and a bar. They also have two beautiful towers where you can rest in the hammocks arranged for you or enjoy the Cuyabeno River in our sloths. Jamu Lodge represents the best accommodation option for travelers in the Cuyabeno.

PRICE PER PERSON $287- Day 1 – Meeting point in Lago Agrio – Journey to Jamu lodge by bus and motorized canoe (4 hours) – box lunch served on board – Visit to Laguna Grande – Dinner
- Day 2 – This day you have two options depending the number of passengers and weather conditions:
- Option 1: Forest trek for observing large tress and small insects – Swim in the lagoon and to enjoy the sunset – Nocturnal activity for searching alligators
- Option 2: Visit to the Tarapuy community for learning how to prepare Casabe (traditional bread)- Nocturnal activity for observing insects and for listening to the noises and sounds of the night.
- Day 3 – Optional Bird watching excursion – breakfast – check out
