Ecuador, is a great destination year-round; being located on the Equator, the weather is enjoyable, and we have regular temperatures every month. The Ecuadorian Pacific Coast is also a great place to travel all year. However, it is divided into two seasons: The Dry season and the warm season.
WARM SEASON (Dec-May). The climate is more tropical, and the ocean temperature is warmer for swimming and snorkeling. One of the highlights of this time of year is the unusual mating rituals that will be seen among animals such as blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, and Frigate birds.
DRY SEASON (Jun-Nov). During this season, tourists may observe a large number of species, including humpback whales, giant manta rays, and tropical fish. Due to the water’s temperature, it is the perfect time for diving or snorkeling.
